We are a network of Christians who work around the Canary Wharf area. Our big aim is to help people working in this part of London hear the message of Jesus Christ and be built up by it.
We welcome people at any stage of Christian understanding, whether you would call yourself a Christian or are just interested in finding out more about the Christian faith, in a relaxed, unpressured setting. Do come along and see for yourself.
Lunchtime Talks
Our main weekly meeting for those working in the Wharf is our midweek lunchtime service. This takes place three times each week now in two locations;
- At the Idea Store Canary Wharf (Thurs 12.15pm)
- On the Barge (Wed 1.05pm, Thurs 1.15pm)
Each week there is a 20-minute talk from the front explaining part of the Bible and showing its relevance to our lives today. The meetings at the Barge are laid out in a café-style format with lunch available and free coffee and tea.
All are welcome to our lunchtime services, whether you are someone who wants to explore the Christian claims in a relaxed, unpressured setting, or a Christian who would like an opportunity for teaching and fellowship in the middle of the week. Partnership Groups
Are you a Christian seeking fellowship during the working week? Would you like the opportunity to meet regularly with other believers in a small group to study the Bible, pray, and support one another as you seek to live as a witness in the workplace? If so then The Partnership is for you. More information of the next term: Partnership_3_ 2015.
The groups meet once a week at the following times:
- Mixed groups: Tuesdays 1-1:45pm
- Men’s groups: Friday 7:30-8:30am
Communion
On certain Mondays there is a short service of Holy Communion from 1.15-1.45pm. This is an opportunity for those who work in the Wharf to gather to remember the death of Jesus Christ for us, as we share bread and wine together. What better way to start the working week!
Prayer and Praise
Every couple of months we hold an event where we praise the Lord in song, and pray for his kingdom to grow on the Wharf. See the events calendar for more details. The next Prayer and Praise will be on Tuesday, 19th May, at 1:05-1:45pm.
