You can’t call them back and can’t avoid the mess they make.” We all know that. It’s one of the reasons the Bible has so much to say about our words – they can make such a mess. But they can also make such a difference: “Gracious words are a honeycomb\, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” (Proverbs 16:24). So we are going to be thinking about how to control our tongues and use our words well in our relationships at church\, at work and at home. \nGuest speaker: David Shaw \nDavid Shaw is a part-time lecturer at Oak Hill Theological College and part-time Theological Adviser for the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches. He is married to Jo and they have four children.
