Back by popular demand after our course in 2016, we will be kicking off with a series of five pilates sessions.
We will aim to reconnect mind and body as we move through the class, a lovely way tp finish the day and leave you feeling calm, strong and energised. We will lengthen short/tight muscles, mobilise our joints and strengthen our supporting muscles to better support our every day lives. The sessions will include various exercises focus on breathing, alignment and control with floor based and standing exercises using props.
It’s for ladies only, and designed for all levels and abilities. The sessions are run by Laura, a dance teacher and performer as well as a member of the Barge church family.
You will need to bring with you a mat, block and ball to make the most of the sessions and get the exercises correct.
