Coastal walk • 13th-century castle • Harbour pub lunch • Discussion
To mark the start of a new year, join the men of the Barge as we embrace the winter elements and set out for a day of walking, fellowship, and also discussion on what it means for us to be a disciple of Christ in 2023 and beyond.
We’ll journey by train to the Essex coast from Limehouse station, walk to a historic viewpoint, then onwards to the harbour town of Leigh-On-Sea where we’ll fuel ourselves for the day with a pub lunch and for the year ahead with input, discussion and prayer on what it means to be a disciple. We’ll then return home by train. A wonderful chance to deepen friendships and make new ones as we ‘move to the right, look to the left!’
