Title: The Power of Words
Someone once said “Words are like eggs dropped from a great height. You can’t call them back and can’t avoid the mess they make.” We all know that. It’s one of the reasons the Bible has so much to say about our words – they can make such a mess. But they can also make such a difference: “Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” (Proverbs 16:24). So we are going to be thinking about how to control our tongues and use our words well in our relationships at church, at work and at home.
