Walter received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour in 1993, when he was nine years old. Hearing about Jesus in Sunday school and then joining the church choir made a big impact on Walter and helped him grow in his faith. Later on, he was given the responsibility of running his church’s missions department.
Nebbi Diocese, where Walter currently serves, covers a wide area yet the number of pastors is few. This has put pressure and increased workload on the few that are able to serve. Seeing this, Walter is committed to gaining his Bachelors of Divinity from Uganda Christian University so that he is trained to handle the Bible correctly and can serve the people in his diocese.
