1 John If you died tonight, are you sure that you would go to heaven? If so, why? Some are not sure, and shouldn’t be. Some are not sure, and should be. Some are sure, and shouldn’t be. And some are sure and should be. Which are you?!
Matthew 28:18-20 The purpose of the RNLI is to save lives at sea. The purpose of the church is also to save lives – not from drowning but from eternal judgment. As church our core business is the salvation of people through the proclamation of the gospel.

From this passage, the Bible says it is based on the gospel, and is a response to what God has done for us first, through Jesus; that knowing the gospel leads to perseverance through persecution; and that Real Christianity is public because it’s such good news we can’t keep it to ourselves!

Individually, and as a society, we’re tempted to ignore the big questions we feel helpless before – like death and what lies beyond. We get very uncomfortable when we run into situations we can’t control. Listen in as we think through the Bible’s claims about Jesus’ control and what that might mean for us.
Luke 9:21-36 We’ll all know people who have made big sacrifices for things like career, family and pastimes. In fact, every choice we make to spend an hour on x, sacrifices an hour on y. The question is – did we sacrifice for the right thing? Listen in to Jesus’ claim he is the one most worth sacrificing for.
John 10:11 Many people today want nothing to do with God because of the corruption of church leaders for whom religion is just a cloak for lust and greed. But God is nothing like such bad shepherds. In Jesus God came as the good shepherd to lay down his life for the sheep.
Luke 9:1-20 Sometimes what we think will fill us, leaves us empty – work, relationships, family, hedonism, religiosity. What should we do when we’re not sure we’ve got the answers ourselves, let alone the answers to give others? Listen in as Jesus shows us how he can fill us and others.
