1 Timothy 5:1-6:2 A church should be an honour culture. That is the theme running through this passage. But we need to understand what that means biblically – because it’s very different to what an honour culture is in other settings.

Timothy 4:1-16 Watching the horror of the war in Ukraine on our screens, we are so grateful to live in a country at peace not war. But spiritually we are at war. This is not peace time. Spiritually we are under attack. There is a war on; a battle for truth. This passage tells us how to wage the good warfare.
who we appoint to different roles? It’s just church, after all! But it all depends on what you think the church is. If the church really is the household of God, then nothing matters more.
