John 15:1-8 In 2005 Steve Jobs, the former CEO of Apple, said this: “Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life.” Jobs’ advice to live with a “whole life perspective” is helpful as far as it goes. But Jesus teaches that it’s possible to live this way and for our lives still to be utterly wasted. Jesus teaches that instead we need a “whole eternity perspective”. What then is a life well-lived? What is the kind of life which really counts eternally?
