Running the race (Weekend away March 2017)
Hebrews 12:12-17 God calls us to lift our drooping hands and strengthen our weak knees and run the race. We need to watch sexual and material temptation, and keep our eyes on our future hope.
Hebrews 12:3-11 “It’s only in heaven that Kleenex goes out of business”. In the meantime there will be plenty of tears in our lives now, and Jesus calls us to take up our cross and follow him.
Various This life is the shortest bit of our existence. We need to be people of faith who keep going by looking to those who have gone before, and above all looking to Jesus.
